WI or Washburn (Original) Idol is Washburn's own flag-ship modern single cut electric guitars who are endorsed globally by many rock & heavy metal guitarist.

Washburn's  Original Idol series has been known for its great features and exceptional playability and these new electrics are no exception. All take on a new image with the adoption of a narrower lower bout silhouette, mahogany necks with rosewood fingerboards, 22 frets, stoptail bridges and two Duncan USM humbucker pickups. As its name states, the Original Idol stays truest to the original Washburn Idol with its stylish, curved single cutaway. 

Artis who play this model is Mike Schleibaum the guitarist & one of co-founder of Darkest Hour, a Washington based Heavy Metal brand who actively took 5 continents tour in 22 countries.
